Project Support Officer (Fixed Term for up to 12 Months) - PKC12151
£24,589 - £26,341 (30 Hours per week)
Pullar House, Perth
The Systems Support Team are looking for a dynamic, self managed and self motivated person to support the the daily activities of the team, and support also the ongoing MOSAIC Implementation Project Team to deliver the project on time and to budget.
Your organisational skills will be critical in the maintenance of the overall action plans and project plans. To do this you will regularly work with the system team and project team and other groups to gather and identify progress to ensure it reflects current agreed milestones.
You will monitor, analyse and identify areas that may fail to meet their milestones / targets and you will work with the appropriate leads to agree and capture exception reporting and new milestones.
You will be the focal point for document control and be responsible for maintaining a document repository for all system and project documentation. You will advise on the different templates to be used for reporting and be responsible for the constant collection, filing and distribution of all documentation.
You will ensure that all documents conform to a naming, numbering and version control methodology and that only the latest revisions are distributed.
You will be responsible for maintaining/tracking the system and project budgets and delivering the financial updates at the appropriate meetings.

This role is one year fixed term tole and is based in Pullar House, Kinnoull Street Perth.

Requirements
You will be able to demonstrate and provide examples of experience working within teams with complex roles, or project and programme environments, providing very high levels of organisational and administrative support, which this role will require.
In this role you will work with all stakeholders across council service areas, supporting the planning activities of the different activities of the system and the project team. You should be able to give examples of successfully providing administrative and business support across varied groups.
You will have a working knowledge of and be an experienced Myview user, or similar HR systems, who is able to monitor the teams sickness absence, annual leave, mileage requests etc on behalf of the line manager, resolving or escalating issues when appropriate.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability as an effective communicator. This role requires you to be a key presence at all Project Board, Steering Group and Forums where you will capture all the relevant actions from the meeting and be willing and able to challenge the meeting in order to clarify points, actions and debate to ensure an accurate and comprehensive record is captured. You should have current experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage, support and resolve issues in this type of setting.
Ideally, will have experience of and be an advanced user of MS Sharepoint and the Microsoft Office suite, or similar products, both of which will enable you to deposit, maintain, and extract project intelligence to support the overall project and the project objectives.
You will hold a minimum of HNC in a relevant discipline such as business administration or similar, or alternatively be able to evidence equivalent experience working in a similar environment supporting management activities. Ideally you will have a foundation project management qualification (eg. PRINCE2 Foundation).
