We currently have the following opportunity:

This is an exiting opportunity for the Home Assessment Recovery Team for HART.

The breadth and depth of knowledge and capability that a modern carer requires has changed greatly over time.  The capacity and skills of the carers has to be a high quality and needs to be sustainable.  A preventative approach as used within HART requires a carer to have increased knowledge of medical conditions, reablement interventions, medications and personal preferences, end of life care all while delivering complex support to individuals with intensive needs.

There is an enthusiastic workforce within HART and people are eager to learn and take on additional responsibility.

We are now in a position to recruit to Senior Reablement Assistant where the role will involve being a champion for several tasks within the Reablement Assistant role: eg medication, moving and handling, skin integrity, falls, delivering training to Reablement Assistants and Social Care Officers.  This will involve supporting the delivery of training and informing service development.

There is flexibility within the post and your particular interest will be supported and encouraged.

Senior Reablement Assistants support colleagues out in the community and on an on call system for evening work and weekend duty via telephone and also support as per service rota.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience who wishes to develop their career in care either within fieldwork or the office environment.
