As part of Children, Families and Justice Service, you will be required to support the implementation of the Children (Care and Justice) Scotland Act 2024.
You will be case responsible for young people aged 16 + in a range of capacities.
You will work alongside young people and their families to support their wellbeing, promote desistance and independent living skills in a trauma informed manner, using relationship-based practice to develop positive working relationships.
You will be required to produce assessments, primarily Pathway Assessments for various audiences including the Children’s Reporter and attend multiagency decision-making forums.
Other roles and responsibilities include contributing to the development and delivery of Early and Effective Intervention programmes, carrying out risk assessments and other social work interventions.

Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for a qualified social worker who is compassionate, patient and committed to making a positive difference to the lives of young people and their families.
You must have the ability to work autonomously, work as part of team, have effective communication skills and be willing to travel.
You will be someone who can build trust, communicate effectively and work.
You must have BA (Hons) Social Work or equivalent.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross and beyond.
