Perth Academy, Murray Place, Perth
As Technician at Perth Academy, you will be responsible for the preparation and first line repair and maintenance of materials and equipment in our CDT and Science departments. You will participate in ensuring Health & Safety Regulations are being adhered to.
• You must have knowledge and experience of fixed workshop machinery
• You must have knowledge and experience of working within a science environment.
• You must be familiar with COSHH regulations and with the safe handling of chemicals.
• You must be able to work as part of a team.
• You must be adaptable and be able to work on your own initiative.
• Ideally you will have technical, electrical and general repairs and maintenance skills.
• Ideally you will have experience within a school environment.
Ideally you will hold either an SVQ Level 3 or SCQF Level 6 in Science or equivalent qualification.
