We are seeking to recruit a Housing Mixed Tenure Manager to work within our Housing Investment team which delivers our capital investment and repair programmes to ensure our housing stock portfolio of 12,000 properties meet all statutory and regulatory standards.

 

We have a significant programme of investment planned over the next 5 years which includes investment within our multi storey high rise blocks and 8 housing regeneration areas, as well as our programmes to ensure our stock continues to meet the Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) and the Social Housing Net Zero Standard.

 

As our Mixed Tenure Manager, you will have responsibility for managing staff involved in involved in these programmes to direct and manage all owner and tenant consultations relating to housing investment programmes.

 

You will manage the Scheme of Assistance and advice for private sector owners and all associated adaptation and other repair grant programmes.

 

You will develop and review communications strategies to inform tenants, owners and elected representatives of planned capital investment programmes and devise appropriate marketing initiatives in conjunction with corporate communications.

 

You must hold a Professional Qualification of Chartered Institute of Housing (CIOH) or relevant degree / equivalent, have previous housing experience in managing grant and factoring programmes and budgets or equivalent, experience in developing and managing communication and housing strategies and knowledge of housing management, housing investment and development needs, including relevant legislation and national policy frameworks.

 

Experience of managing customer focused participation programmes, analysing and reporting data and writing detailed reports aswell as experience of promoting quality in all service areas including delivery of customer focused outcomes is essential.

 

Effective interpersonal, leadership, IT and verbal and written communication skills are also essential.

 

You must be able to attend meetings out with normal office hours as required.

 

Knowledge of Housing legislation relating to grant and repair programmes, knowledge of Scheme of Assistance support to private owners, Analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills and full current driving licence are desirable.
