The successful candidate will be responsible for serving library users and providing an efficient library and information service at all times.
 
 
Duties of the post include: providing the public with an efficient and effective library and information service, ensuring library stock is maintained in good order and well presented, assisting with the promotion of the library service to the local community, assisting in the delivery of library events including Bookbug, assisting the public in the use of new technology and answering enquiries from the public.
 
 
Please note that all posts may be required to work at any library in Renfrewshire.
 
 
Applicants must have experience of working with the public, an excellent standard of ICT skills and good communication skills. Experience of working in a library is desirable.
 
 
The post holder must have a flexible approach regarding hours worked in order to suit the needs of the service.
