Grade: 4A Hourly Rate: £12.75 - £13.43 Salary: £23,280.40 - £24,521.40 pro rata per annum Hours: 12.5 Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.

Role Purpose

Berwickshire High School is one of nine secondary schools in the Scottish Borders, serving learners aged 11 to 18. In the 2024/25 academic year, the school had an enrolment of around 600 learners. Our dedicated and highly skilled teaching and support staff bring a diverse range of experiences, fostering a collaborative environment where staff can learn from each other and enhance the overall quality of teaching and learning for our learners—a key focus of improvement at BHS. To provide a range of clerical administrative support to the business, operational and administrative teams within the Department, through administering, organising, assessing and processing information.
