Role Purpose
A vacancy has arisen within the school office at Burnfoot Community School. We are seeking a motivated and well-organised individual to join our school team, providing a wide range of clerical and administrative support. You will work closely with pupils, staff, parents, and members of the public on a variety of matters, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Primary School Administrator with clerical and administrative support
• Produce a variety of documents using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
• Maintain accurate school records and handle confidential information appropriately
• Support day-to-day office functions including reception duties, ordering, and payments
• Assist with cash handling, banking, and related record keeping
• Help organise meetings, events, and school activities
• Liaise effectively with pupils, staff, parents, and external agencies
• Undertake general office duties such as photocopying and filing
• Participate in ongoing training, including First Aid where required

Essential
Good standard of education with a minimum of 3 Standard Grades or equivalent (General level 3 or above) including English and Mathematics, or substantial relevant experience
