Role Purpose

The post is based within Council Headquarters, Newtown St Boswells. Business Support provide support to Environment & Infrastructure services such as Roads, Waste, Passenger Transport, Parks and Open Spaces and Street Lighting to name a few.

As a Business Support Assistant within the Transactions Team, your duties will include:

• Processing Invoices • Mail Duties -Processing incoming mail • Dealing with allocated tasks within the Transactions mailbox • Use of SBC applications such as Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages • Manipulating and extracting information within Microsoft Excel • Communicating with Service Management Staff • Use of bespoke IT applications • Providing Good Customer service to internal and external clients.

Essential

Minimum of 3 Standard Grades at level 1, 2, 3 (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics
