Salary: £23,960.58 - £23,960.58

Contract Duration: Temporary until 01/07/2027

Role Purpose

You must be aged between 16-24 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship).

The post is based within the Peebles Social Work Office.

Business Support provide support to the Social Work staff within the Peebles Social Work office and other Social Work staff groups as/when required.

As a Modern Apprentice within the Peebles Social Work Office, your duties will include:

• Telephone Answering

• Letter typing and distribution

• Minute taking and distribution

• Use of SBC applications such as Mosaic, Business World, Intranet, One Drive and Microsoft packages

• Processing Police Concern Forms

• Scanning and filing

• Being first point of telephone/email contact to the public and Professionals

• Monitoring of Team mailboxes

• Completing Mosaic Incoming Work

 

Essential

In accordance with Scottish Borders Council priorities, you will need to be aged 16-24 (at the point of starting the apprenticeship) to qualify for this position.

A good standard of general education.
