Role Purpose
The post is based within the Resources Admin Team at Paton Street, Galashiels, with some office days possibly required at Head Quarters Newtown St Boswells on a rota basis.
This team is largely responsible for the admin of all Carer Payments and TCAC payments across the Borders as well as the day to day tasks involved in carers checks and processing, with minute taking and administration work needed for Kinship, Fostering and Permanence Panel.
The main role of this post will be providing administration support and supporting the existing Resources Admin Team with a variety of tasks. Some of these include:
- Minute taking of young people meetings, resources panels and Family Placement Team transition/permanence meetings
- Processing police concern forms for youth justice and completing the required after tasks
- Managing the admin mailbox and call handling on a rota basis
- Processing invoices and payments internally for payment to be authorised and actioned
- Sharefound CTF & JISA tasks including valuation report submitting and letter correspondence sent for this task
- Providing general administrative support to Transitions Team, Family Placement Team, Kinship Team and Wheatlands house
