Your work will see you develop strong relationships across the Council, including with Directors, Senior Managers and Elected Members and will include providing communications support, advice and solutions that support business needs and that are aligned to corporate policies. Working with local and national partners, you will represent Scottish Borders Council and support the development of communications strategies, plans and content relating to joint projects and activities.
The successful candidate will also form part of the close-knit team supporting multi-agency Incident Response Groups as required, including out of hours, to deliver effective communications in line with our responsibilities to warn and inform when severe weather strikes or incidents occur.
