Role Purpose
This is a great opportunity to join our Parks and Environment Team as a Driver on our Midi Sweeper.
The main duties are to operate the Midi Sweeper in our towns and villages across Scottish Borders Council. Keeping the streets and footpaths clean, driving safely while being courteous to the public and other vehicle users. The successful candidate would also assist with the day to day duties in Street Cleansing Services within Parks & Environment.
Duties include the following tasks:
Public Toilet Cleaning
Litter Picking
Emptying Street Bins
Graffiti Removal
Assisting Parks services
Keeping our Environment clean and tidy
Essential
A current driving C1 licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
