Role Purpose

We are looking for an Education Worker for Deaf Children & Young People is to work as an effective member of the Additional Support Needs team within the Earlston learning community, delivering high quality service which supports the integration of deaf pupils into nursery and school.

 

Essential

Experience or formal qualification in sign language eg BSL/SSE/SEE/English, lip speaking, notetaking and/or language modification.

A commitment to work towards formal qualification in BSL

Having well developed, receptive and expressive skills.
