*Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term time.
Role Purpose
Carry out instructions from Cook on a daily basis, Set out dining room furniture where necessary, Lay tables for pupils’ lunch where necessary, Ensure cleanliness of work area and dining area, When instructed take food temperature and enter to appropriate form, Serve pupils quickly and efficiently, Clear away and dispose of waste food, Wash up all crockery, cutlery and containers, Clean and wash kitchen and dining room as per daily/weekly cleaning programme check list, Dispose of waste and rubbish in tied bags and place in refuse area, Operate tills, Any other duties as specified by the Cook .
Essential
Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate / RIPHH Certificate or must be willing to achieve within 6 months Basic numeracy and literacy
