Role Purpose

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Homelessness Team Leader to join our established Homelessness Service.
Across Scotland, homelessness services are evolving rapidly in response to increasing demand, policy developments, and a renewed focus on prevention, early intervention, and person-centred support. This is a unique rewarding opportunity to play a key leadership role in shaping and developing how we respond to these challenges within the Scottish Borders.

Essential

HND (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area.

Demonstrable relevant professional experience.

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Reasonable adjustments will be considered for candidates with disabilities in line with Scottish Borders Council responsibilities.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
