Please note you will work 30 hours per week Monday to Friday during term time and 20 hours per week during school holidays covering a nursery hub Monday to Friday. You will be working 1 week either February or October holiday, 1 week at Easter and 3 weeks during the summer holiday.
Role Purpose
Provide cover for sickness/absences in various units. Manage the day-to-day operation of the Unit. Responsible for the ordering, storage, preparation, cooking and serving of all foods plus cleaning materials for the Unit. Responsible for working to a given menu and within the appropriate costs set. Work within targets/guidelines as agreed with the Area Catering Manager (food and labour costs). Responsible for the day-to-day administration. Responsible for portion control as per specification. Any other duties as specified by the Area Catering Manager.
Note: a vehicle will be provided to drive between units.

Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate
