Role Purpose

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and highly effective Principal Teacher of Pastoral Care to join the leadership team at Berwickshire High School.

The successful candidate will provide strong pastoral leadership, ensuring high quality support for young people through a focus on wellbeing, inclusion, attendance, engagement and positive relationships. They will work closely with pupils, families, staff and partner agencies to improve outcomes and ensure all learners are supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled teacher and leader with a strong commitment to child-centred practice, equity and inclusion, and the ability to lead improvement in pastoral systems and pupil support.
