Role Purpose

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To work face to face with a targeted group of young people.

2. To work with other staff and volunteers in providing appropriate programs to meet the needs of a targeted group of young people with a focus on closing the poverty attainment gap.

3. To work with young people and partners such as DYW, CLD and SDS to raise aspiration and ensure sustained positive destination post school.

4. To support Family Learning opportunities.

5. To participate in staff training and development as agreed with the Pupil Support team.

6. To safeguard and implement safe working practices with respect to confidentiality, consent, child protection and managing risk appropriately.

Essential

No formal qualifications are required, but an acceptable standard of school education is desirable.
