Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Senior Social Worker to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people in the Transitions Team. The service firmly believes in the power of strength based relational Social Work which is crucial in supporting children and young people across the three strands of our practice which include Youth Justice, Throughcare and Aftercare and Unaccompanied Asylum-seeking Children.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

 

Essential

Professional Social Work Qualification and Registration with SSSC

 

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
