Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced, values‑driven Service Manager to provide operational leadership within our Integrated Learning Disability Service in the Scottish Borders.This post will provide leadership to the Social Work Team covering the West part of the local authority area. This is a pivotal leadership role within a long‑established and highly regarded integrated health and social work service, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives within their communities. Located in the heart of the Scottish Borders, this role offers the opportunity to work in a setting that combines professional challenge and innovation with an excellent quality of life. The area is easily commutable from Edinburgh, with direct road and rail links, making it an attractive option for candidates seeking leadership roles without the pressures of city‑centre working.
Essential
The Service Manager will have relevant experience, hold a professional Social Work qualification and be educated to degree level
