Role Purpose

We are seeking a part time SFA Football Development Officer to join our team to allow for an even greater focus on the development and growth of local sports clubs across the Scottish Borders focussing on developing clubs focussing on creating new opportunities for woman and girls to get involved in sport.

The role will also support the Borders Football Development Officer with the delivery of the regional football programme including the regional squads and the work of the Scottish Borders Junior Football Association.

Successful applicants will be dedicated to the development of community sport; a team player driven to make a difference. The role will take responsibility for working alongside the other sports development staff to improve the sporting pathway programme in particular for woman & girls.

The Individual will support clubs to be strong, inclusive, safe and sustainable with the intended outcome of strengthening the pathways into sport across the region.

Essential

HND or relevant experience or qualifications in a sports and/or business-related discipline

Working towards a level 2 Coaching Qualification from a Governing Body
