Hourly Rate: £17.24 - £18.90

Salary: £33,261.04 - £36,463.65 per annum

Contract Duration: Temporary until 10/01/2027

There are up to 6 positions available, both full time and part time working considered.

NOTE: The start date for these positions will not commence prior to 1 April 2025

Role Purpose

Working with young people within a residential setting in the Scottish Borders.

This is a role that will be essential to the development of a new service requiring individuals to be able to adapt to change and implement new procedures.

To provide support in a relevant professional area.

Co-ordinate the provision of a support roles.

Provide advice, assistance and support to young people.

Act as appropriate role model for young people and address any difficulties and help to achieve optimum potential.

Be aware of aims and objectives of Lowood and area of work and work collaboratively with colleagues and others.

Essential

HNC/SVQ 3 Social Services Children and Young People or equivalent

SSSC Registration with 6 months of taking up post

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
