Role Purpose

An exciting opportunity to join an established children and families statutory social work team in Scottish Borders based in our Galashiels office. We are super supportive, approachable and committed to the learning and development of social workers while meeting the needs of the families we work with. We have full and part time opportunities available.

Essential

Professional social work qualification recognised by the SSSC eg. Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW.

Registration with Scottish Social Services Council.

Up-to-date understanding of the key issues and relevant theoretical background facing professional children and families social workers, particularly relating to child protection and looked after children.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle with business insurance is an essential requirement of this post.
