Role Purpose

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join our Languages faculty. Languages is a growing area of the curriculum, with increasing uptake across the courses we offer. We are, therefore, looking for a teacher, who is passionate about teaching languages and keen to contribute to the continued development and visibility of languages within our school. Our faculty currently offers French, German and Spanish across all stages of the Broad General Education and Senior Phase, with plans underway to introduce Mandarin as an additional language option. Whilst the ability to teach Spanish and another language would be desirable, we welcome applications from teachers with any language specialisms, who are eager to contribute to a collaborative team.

Essential

•A teaching qualification in Modern Languages

• Full registration with The General Teaching Council for Scotland or Provisional Registration if Probationary period has not yet been completed.
