Role Purpose

Scottish Borders Council are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to work with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children and young people. This post will involve providing day-to-day support including settling within a new community, shopping for essentials and attending appointments.

Where this is a requirement for the successful candidate to work from home as part of the role you will be provided with the necessary IT equipment by the Council, however, you will be responsible for the provision of any required furniture.

Essential

HNC/SVQ 3 in Social Care or Childcare and Education OR considerable experience and a commitment to undertake such training


A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
