- Salary: £31,238.54 - £32,319.71 per annum inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance
- Hourly Rate: £16.18 - £16.74 per hour inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance
- Enhanced rate for weekend work at time + 1/3 (£21.57 - £22.32 per hour)
- Hours of work 07:30 – 16:45, four days a week which includes every second weekend

We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our friendly, hard-working, team at Edward Thomason & Taing House, Lerwick. We are looking for someone who is organised, creative and passionate about food and customer service.
We believe that nutritious, well-prepared meals are an essential part of our residents' well-being, happiness and quality of life. As a Cook you will be responsible for the preparation of wholesome meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring compliance with relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene requirements.

- Salary shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,742 per annum
- Permanent Full Time post for 37.0 Hours per Week , 52.18 weeks per year
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
- A relocation package does not apply to this post
- We will pay interview expenses from within Shetland
