The Partnership Officer reports to the Team Leader – Community Planning.
The Partnership Officer provides information and advice to the Team Leader – Community Planning, and Executive Manager – Community Planning and Development to support service, directorate, corporate and Shetland Partnership decision making.
The postholder is responsible for providing support to the Shetland Partnership, by undertaking a lead officer role e.g. agenda planning in consultation with the Chair, carrying out data collection and research, co-ordinating performance measures and statistical analysis through to leading on areas of policy development and service review as well as general support for the Community Planning & Development Service.
The postholder provides professional advice to the Team Leader, Executive Manager, Director and Elected Members with respect to the development, planning and delivery of services to ensure the Council fulfils all statutory requirements and implements relevant policies in respect of these services.
