The purpose of the Senior Houseparent is to assist the Team Leader with all tasks associated with managing development of the service including the supervision, coaching and development of staff. This is a multi-disciplinary role requiring the post holder not only to set practical standards of care and support by example, but to support the growth of the team they lead in order to deliver high quality and consistent standards of work.

- Rate of pay shown in the advert is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance of £2,859 per annum
- Permanent Full Time post for 40.5 Hours per Week , 39 weeks per year plus 6.24 weeks (pro rata) paid holiday to be taken during school holidays.
- Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update prior to a formal offer of employment being made
- The successful candidate will have to complete registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) when they begin in post
- A relocation package does not apply to this post
