Job Description
Are you an experienced professional with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people? We are seeking an independent and confident Panel Chair to lead our Permanence Panel.
This rewarding role requires someone with excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills who can effectively chair complex discussions, support robust recommendations, and ensure the highest standards of practice are maintained. You will work closely with panel members, senior managers and decision makers, helping to shape life-changing decisions for children and families.
We are looking for someone with experience and a working knowledge of adoption, fostering or caring for children away from their birth families, together with a strong commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Our Permanence Panel meets 10 times a year on a monthly basis via MST. The position attracts a payment of £400.00 per panel.
