What is the role?

To take a lead role by providing professional support to South Ayrshire’s Child Protection Committee ensuring that its core responsibilities and key objectives are effectively discharged under the direction and leadership of the Chair of the Committee.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 12; the hourly rate is from £25.37 to £26.92 and the annual salary is from £46,300 to £49,129.

Interviews for this post are scheduled to take place on 04 September 2023.

The successful candidate will primarily work from home with occasional travel within the South Ayrshire area. Frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
