JOB PURPOSE

If employed by South Ayrshire Council, the Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 13; the hourly rate is from £27.32 to £29.01 and the annual salary is from £49,859 to £52,943.

If employed by the NHS, this will be a full-time permanent position; 37.5hrs per week; the salary scale will be from £50,965 to £55,016.

It is our expectation that any existing Local Authority employees while remain on their terms and conditions of employment should they be successful in an application. The same applies to NHS candidates who we would expect to remain under Agenda for Change Terms and conditions.

Interviews for this post are scheduled to take place on 30 January 2023.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
