Job Description

What is the role?

Based in Ayr, the Energy Agency is a charity that provides independent advice on energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable transport, and delivers small and large scale energy efficiency projects throughout south-west Scotland. We work across multiple sectors including housing, businesses and communities.

The Energy Agency is contracted by several councils to provide project management services to deliver the Scottish Government funded Area Based Schemes. We are seeking to employ an experienced professional to assist the existing project management team in the delivery of energy efficiency projects in domestic housing.

The Project Administrator is responsible for assisting the team in managing customer relations by helping to support, and add value, to communication activities between householders and contractors.

The role primarily involves call-handling, accurate recording of information, team working, and prioritising/organising tasks. The post older will be required to maintain a general knowledge of domestic building construction and energy efficiency retrofit measures, supported by technical staff.

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.

Formal Interviews are scheduled to take place on 20 March 2024 at Heathfield Business Park, 2 Forbes Drive in Ayr.
