JOB DESCRIPTION
We are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our central education team.
As a Quality Improvement Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high‑quality early learning and childcare across South Ayrshire. You will provide strategic guidance and professional leadership to Early Learning and Childcare settings, primary and secondary schools within a cluster.
Working closely with senior officers, headteachers, teachers, early years practitioners, partners and local communities, you will drive continuous improvement and champion excellence across our education services.

REQUIREMENTS
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
