Job Description

What is the role?

As a teacher within the Autism Outreach Team, you will work with children from 3-18 to access the curriculum, build positive relationships and develop strategies for regulation. As part of the role, you will build capacity in schools through the delivery of bespoke training, leading interventions and working cooperatively with other services. In addition to supporting school staff, you will have the opportunity to lead social communication groups and work 1:1 with pupils of all ages.

The successful candidate will need an understanding of the challenges faced by autistic pupils and ideally have a wider understanding of additional support needs.

The Grade of this post is Teacher (Maingrade) with an annual salary from £24,183 to £30,353.
