JOB DESCRIPTION
Based within the Family Resource Centre, Wills Road, Ayr, you will provide leadership and improvement to support children and young people in South Ayrshire to start well, live well and age well. Working alongside Family Support Services and the Initial Response Team, you will provide support and supervision to a range of Social Work staff.
The Family Support and Initial Response Team provide specific and targeted support to protect and enhance the outcomes of children, young people and their families. As the Team Leader you will provide a “Duty Manager” role within the Initial Response Team.
As an innovative and creative individual, you will be a Qualified Social Worker with demonstrable experience in working within a Children and Families setting, have experience of promoting and developing staff, leading on improvement and driving a culture of learning and care within a Health and Social Care Partnership.
