Job Description
What is the role?
Under the direction of a Principal Social Worker to be responsible for leading a team of social workers and support staff in ensuring that access to services, assessments and reviews are completed timeously in line with national and local performance targets.

The Grade of these post are Grade 4 / Level 12; the hourly rate is from £25.37 to £26.92 and the annual salary is from £46,300 to £49,129. Please note these posts require the post holder/s to be SSSC registered within six months of employment.
Interviews for these posts are scheduled to take place on 22-23 June 2023.
The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly between home and the office and the frequency for attending the office may vary depending on the exigencies of the service.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
