Work Pattern: Monday - Wednesday 7.30am - 4pm

Hourly Rate: £14.02 - £14.33 per hour

This post is temporary until 31 March 2026

We are looking to recruit a Primary Pool Janitor to join our Facilities team within the Hamilton and Blantyre area. 

You will be responsible for the preparation of all documentation relating to the Janitorial and Cleaning function within the premises.

Duties also include carrying out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls etc.

You will also be required to monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulations, reporting any difficult issues to management.

Responsibilities:

  • To effectively communicate with the Facilities Manager; Head of Establishment/Lessee’s and Team Members to ensure the customer needs are met on a daily basis.
  • To log, monitor and report all damage/faults in relation to the fabric and fixtures.
  • To liaise with external contractors and lessee’s, ensuring all Health and Safety and security procedures are adhered to.
  • To monitor the activities of lessee’s and contractors reporting any issues to line manager.
  • Ensure unit grounds are kept in a safe and tidy order, free from dangerous articles ensuring Health and safety of staff and visitors.
