An opportunity has arisen for Clerical Assistant roles within Finance and Corporate Resources across our HR transactional hub, supporting a busy team with the main areas of work aligned to either the recruitment and onboarding team or pay & conditions transactional team.

The workload of the teams is deadline focused therefore you must be proactive, reliable and can demonstrate the ability to organise and manage your workload effectively with strong attention to detail. You should also possess excellent communication skills and a personal desire and commitment to provide a high-quality customer focused service. 

The successful applicant must have excellent IT skills; be reliable and flexible with the ability to work as part of a team in a highly professional manner, whilst exercising confidentiality and discretion at all times.

The successful candidate will be given support and training to enable them to undertake the role to their full potential and to contribute to the continued development of the Council’s HR service.
