Do you want to be at the heart of delivering strategies and improving services in South Lanarkshire?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Housing and Technical Resources for a Strategy and Support Manager to drive strategic direction, service improvement, and innovation across the Resource.

In this pivotal role, you will lead a broad and high‑profile portfolio, including:

  • Leading the development and delivery of key strategies, such as the Local Housing Strategy and the Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy
  • Overseeing the delivery and continuous development for the performance management framework to ensure it meets business needs
  • Managing the planning, development and delivery of affordable housing supply in South Lanarkshire 
  • Systematic development and review of policy to reflect best practice and meet regulatory requirements, and 
  • Enhancing the systems that underpin strategic and operational delivery, ensuring they remain robust, efficient, and aligned to business priorities

We are seeking a candidate with substantial experience in one or more of the above areas, strong stakeholder engagement skills, the ability to influence at all levels, and the confidence to constructively challenge and drive continuous improvement.

Overseas Criminal Records Check
