An opportunity for a highly motivated Planning and Resource Manager has arisen within Property Services to support our Maintenance and Contracts teams based at various business unit locations and stores across South Lanarkshire.
The successful applicant will have the responsibility for managing all aspects of Plant & Transport and our Stores facilities to support over 600 staff in safe and efficient service delivery across the whole of Building Services, liaising with all managers to achieve this. Fully understand fleet, plant and store requirements, ensuring that these accurately reflect the needs of the service and that a professional co-ordinated approach to standardised working practices is achieved across these key areas, managing with in allocated budgets and timescales.
In addition, you will be representative for Health and Safety groups for Building Services and also responsible for the managing of non-housing team covering schools, offices, leisure centres etc in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance programmes, supporting as required the planning and safe delivery of varied trades. Monitor and report on fleet, stores, plant and planned maintenance programmes, ensuring sound management and that all agreed statutory and key performance indicators are achieved, whilst maximising client satisfaction.
Experience of planning and efficient use of resources, budget management, and the ability to deliver projects on time and budget is essential for this post. This will include the monitoring and reporting on overall programme, ensuring sound management of projects, and that all agreed legislative, statutory, and key performance indicators are achieved, whilst maximising client satisfaction.
You will have the ability to identify continuous change and improvement in your relevant teams through effective leadership and management of people, processes, and resources to deliver efficient and effective support to your customers. This will also include the ability to evaluate and develop business cases for any changes or additional investment required to support the service.
