We have an exciting clerical opportunity to join our South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Performance and Support Service Team. We have the following vacancies available within:
- South Lanarkshire Lifestyles, Eastfield, Rutherglen. This post is part time 17.5 hours working 5 x afternoons, 12:30 – 16:00, we can however be flexible and may consider 3 days one week and 2 days following week.
- David Walker Gardens Care Home, Rutherglen. This post is 17.5 hours working Monday, Tuesday alternative Wednesday 08:45 – 16:45.
- Community Mental Health Team based within Lanark Health Centre, Lanark. This post is part time 17.5 hours working 5 x mornings, 08:45 – 12:15 Monday – Friday.
- South Lanarkshire Lifestyles, Fairhill, Hamilton. This post is part time 17.5 hours working 5 x mornings 08:45 – 12:15
- Community Mental Health Team based within Eastvale Resource Centre, Rutherglen. This post is part time 17.5 hours working 5 x mornings, 08:45 – 12:15 Monday – Friday.
- Newberry Rooney Centre, Hamilton. This post is part time 17.5 hours working 5 x mornings 08:45 – 12:15.
As a Clerical Assistant you will provide administration support to operational managers and staff fielding phone calls ,provide a word processing service, maintaining spreadsheets, arranging meetings using the outlook facility, annual archiving, maintain inventory of all tools and equipment within the establishment, data inputting to our Social Work case management system, use Multi Functional Devices, scanning and indexing documents, petty cash including reconciliation, and other general admin tasks to support our colleagues who provide a frontline service to the community.
The Clerical Assistant within David Walker Gardens, Rutherglen and Newberry Rooney Centre, Hamilton also provide a front line reception service, greeting and welcoming visitors.
We welcome applications from people who have an excellent knowledge of IT packages. Ideally you will have experience of working as a receptionist or within an office, however this will not be essential as you will be given full training.
