An exciting opportunity has arisen for Support Worker’s to join our young person’s service which supports young people between the ages of 14 and 26 years. Young people supported by this service are in receipt of throughcare and aftercare and/or are experiencing other adolescent challenges such as coming into conflict with the law. This is an exciting time to be joining the team, and the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of this evolving service and to help keep the PROMISE for young people.
What Will you be doing?
The role requires you to support the successful implementation of this new service as well as having the commitment and drive to improve outcomes for young people. You will successfully work in partnership with other agencies to ensure you Get it Right for our Young People. You will have case responsibility where assessments have been undertaken, IAR/SCRA, and it is considered suitable to sit with Support Worker’s for a period of intervention. There is opportunity also to do work more complex cases.
About You
The successful candidate should have an interest and commitment to working with adolescents and young people and have experience in this area. An SVQ would be desirable. The candidate will also be committed to driving forward the implementation of a new service. The candidate will also be a committed team player who is enthusiastic about the service as well as working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies.’ The successful candidate should have a full driving licence.
