This post offers excellent opportunities at a time of considerable development within the service. As a Community Support Co-ordinator you will play a key role in the delivery of community services. You will be responsible for the management of care staff and the delivery of care services, in line with Supporting Your Independence across South Lanarkshire Council. You will be responsible for the work of a team of Home Carers and should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. You will also have responsibility for managing and organising the care for service users.
You will work as part of a locality team assessing service users’ needs in respect of care referrals and monitoring and reviewing care within agreed timescales. You should have excellent IT skills and be dynamic and creative, with the ability to resolve problems as they arise.
It is essential that applicant has a qualification which fully meet the SSSC Registration Requirements of the post and gain full SSSC registration within 3 months of commencing the post.
