The Lead Officer Child Protection in South Lanarkshire will work with partners to support the implementation of the core functions of a Child Protection Committee.

The successful post holder has a pivotal role alongside the Chair of the CPC to ensure effective multiagency working takes place alongside families to ensure children at risk of harm are identified and their families are supported to reduce identified harms .

We are looking for a highly motivated, forward-thinking individual, someone who has interest in the guiding the CPC on the new and emerging safety contexts for older Young People at risk of harms. The post holder will also have a grasp of legislation, practice guidance and policy across Child Protection and adult Protection systems.

You should be committed to working across all agencies to ensure effective safeguarding standards are in place for children and families living within South Lanarkshire.
