About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one Operations Managers to join our young person’s service which supports young people between the ages of 14 and 26 years. Young people supported by this service are in receipt of throughcare and aftercare and/or are experiencing other adolescent challenges such as coming into conflict with the law. This is an exciting time to be joining the team, and the role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of this evolving service and to help keep the PROMISE for young people.
What Will you be doing?
The role requires you to support the successful implementation of this new service as well as having the commitment and drive to improve outcomes for young people. You will successfully work in partnership with other agencies to ensure you Get it Right for our Young People. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of social workers, senior practitioners and PROMISE leads. The Operations Manager will support young people who may be impacted by the Care and Justice (Scotland)Act 2024 and may be in need of formal care and protection measures.
About You
The successful candidate should be registered with the SSSC and have an interest and commitment to working with adolescents and young people. Experience of managing and leading teams including the provision of supervision and management of performance. The candidate will also be innovative and committed to driving forward the implementation of a new service. The candidate will also be a committed team player who is enthusiastic about leading the service as well as working collaboratively with other social work leaders and partner agencies.
Hours: 35 per week
