South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Lifeguards at Lanark Lifestyles.

You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre ensuring that facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures. You will also undertake a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.

A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential, with a first aid certificate and previous experience being desirable.

Requirements

This post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 2003.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Therefore, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children or protected adults.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.

Please note: if you are successful for this post you will be required to cover the cost of the PVG.
