Location: East Kilbride Ice Rink, The Olympia Shopping Centre, East Kilbride
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:30pm (with a requirement to cover backshifts, early mornings and weekend working to suit business needs)

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Officer to join our Operations and Estates team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of East Kilbride Ice Rink, ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance with health and safety legislation.
What you’ll do:
Lead and manage staff to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Oversee health and safety compliance and operational standards.
Programme activities and events to meet community needs.
Manage local budgets, control expenditure, and maximise income.
Act as Duty Manager and contribute to organisational projects (shift and weekend working will be required to support business needs).
What we’re looking for:
Experience working within an Ice Rink environment would be preferred.
Experience in a compliance environment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.
