SLLC 691 - Golf Course Starter - Seasonal (Various locations)

Locations and Hours:

Larkhall Golf Course, Burnhead Road, Larkhall - 16.03 hours and 16.10 hours per week

Strathclyde Park Golf Course, Motehill, Hamilton - 23.55 hours and 23.56 hours per week

Torrance House Golf Course, Strathaven Road, East Kilbride - 2 x 20.99 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Shifts will vary and include early shifts (6.30am start), late shifts (9.30pm finish) and weekend shifts

Salary Band: £12.82 - £13.26 per hour

Duration: Seasonal until Mid October 2025

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join their team of Seasonal Golf Course Starters.

The successful candidates will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of Outdoor Recreation facilities in Larkhall, Hamilton and East Kilbride.

The principal duties will include opening and closing of the facility, setting up the pitch and putt course, cash handling, dealing with customer enquiries, promoting of memberships and the sale of retails goods.

Knowledge of golf and experience of the above would be advantageous but full training will be given.

Please note: Outdoor, mid-week and weekend working is required.
