Job Description
The post will involve providing a 15 hours per week professional cleaning service on a 52 week basis, working over 7 days Summer time Hours between 5.30am – 9pm winter time hours between 5.30am – 7pm and paid at Stirling Council Grade 2 (£12.45 per hour).
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of an allocated list of public conveniences which will be used by the general public Applicants should be capable of lifting heavy items, using cleaning machinery including electric buffing machines, scrubber dryers and vacuum cleaners.
Be able to clean surfaces to head height and prepared to work alone including driving to areas anywhere in the Council area during the hours of darkness and in inclement weather. Personal protective equipment, uniform, transport and training will be provided. Applicants will also require a basic working knowledge of IT and be willing to undertake training to allow them to utilise Stirling Council online training and human resources IT applications.
A current full driver’s license is essential for this post.
